Easy Halloween dinner ideas for busy families, church gatherings and cozy nights at home. Discover make-ahead meals, dietary options and Thermomix® tips.<h2>Easy Halloween Dinner Ideas: Less Stress, Better Homemade Food</h2>Halloween dinner has a timing problem.Everyone needs to eat, costumes may need finishing, the doorbell may already be ringing, and you probably don't want to spend the entire evening standing over the stove.Or perhaps your October 31 looks completely different.Whatever your plans, a little preparation can make the evening easier. And homemade food doesn't have to be complicated.<h3>Whatever October 31 Looks Like for Your Family</h3>Not everyone spends Halloween the same way. Some families head out trick-or-treating, others welcome neighbors at their doors, and some spend the evening at church, attending a fall festival or helping with an alternative program. Others prefer a quiet evening at home, perhaps spending time in prayer.Whatever your plans, you still need to eat. And if you're preparing food for a church gathering or welcoming people into your home, you may have quite a few mouths to feed. That's why I love meals that can be prepared ahead, made in larger batches and adapted to different dietary needs.<h3>Easy Halloween Dinner Ideas for Every Occasion</h3>Before trick-or-treating A filling <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r448440" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r448440" target="_blank" rel="noopener">soup</a>, <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r55847" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r55847" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chili, </a><a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r109420" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r109420" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mac'n cheese,</a> or <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r912602" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r912602" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pasta</a> that everyone can enjoy before heading outside. Easy to prepare and serve. Whether you're feeding your family before trick-or-treating or bringing food to a church gathering, Halloween isn't the night for complicated cooking. 2. Filling and nutritious. A warm soup, pasta, chili or curry can provide a satisfying meal before the evening gets busy. 3. Minimal hands-on time. If I can get dinner cooking and then help with costumes, prepare for guests or answer the door, that's a win. 4. Easy to adapt to dietary needs. Whether someone is vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, I want everyone at the table to have something delicious to eat. That's also where <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thermomix®</a> and Cookidoo® can be surprisingly useful.<figure id="figure-0qw97mz5lqmun2d0c6"><img id="0qw97mz5lqmun2d0c6" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/24GrNbSUIGSIsz7NssHUUHtE2YWuNn01EL40PwJNs9WteLo2sgX3pNmMQ0UMz0tc.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/24GrNbSUIGSIsz7NssHUUHtE2YWuNn01EL40PwJNs9WteLo2sgX3pNmMQ0UMz0tc.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Let dinner cook while Halloween happens around you</h3>One reason I've used Thermomix for more than ten years is that cooking doesn't always happen when life is calm. Halloween is a perfect example. With the Thermomix® TM7, I can chop ingredients, weigh them directly into the mixing bowl, cook and stir in the same workflow. With a Guided Cooking recipe, the TM7 walks me through the steps and controls settings such as time, temperature and speed when the recipe calls for them. That means I don't have to spend the entire cooking time standing beside a pot and stirring. On Halloween, I can think of several better uses for those minutes.<figure id="figure-brolfj9csumun2fdz5"><img id="brolfj9csumun2fdz5" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bgxlFF9bYgeFJcJadUlHitUNju5koN4RD3NsLPaubRoE1nhR8GsCOLSlJ6mnXCl.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 25%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="25%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bgxlFF9bYgeFJcJadUlHitUNju5koN4RD3NsLPaubRoE1nhR8GsCOLSlJ6mnXCl.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 25%;"></figure><h3>What would I make?</h3>I wouldn't overcomplicate it. A creamy soup with bread is easy to serve early and keep the evening moving. Chili or curry can be filling and can often be prepared ahead. Pasta or mac and cheese tends to work well when children need something familiar before heading outside.<a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/col399982" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/col399982" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo®</a> actually has <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/VrkCollection-us-000001338004" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/VrkCollection-us-000001338004" target="_blank" rel="noopener">official Halloween </a>inspiration ranging from Macaroni and Cheese and Chicken Noodle Soup to Spooky Spaghetti and Meatballs, pumpkin dishes and Halloween treats.&nbsp; You can make dinner festive if that's fun for you. Or you can make normal dinner and save the costumes for the people. Both count.<figure id="figure-15a42gmzjmmun2dyj4"><img id="15a42gmzjmmun2dyj4" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/28z8I2B2TaHN3CD1lyiyRJfx6ehBUIUGgLTfOiWzSmfTNf5fYlzg6nxgK7frHnfT.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 90%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="90%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/28z8I2B2TaHN3CD1lyiyRJfx6ehBUIUGgLTfOiWzSmfTNf5fYlzg6nxgK7frHnfT.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 90%;"></figure><h3>What if Someone Has a Dietary Restriction?</h3>This is one of the newer Cookidoo features I'm particularly excited about. The <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/cookidoo-assistant" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/cookidoo-assistant" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo® Assistant</a> is built into the Cookidoo app and lets you ask cooking questions conversationally instead of trying to guess the perfect search term. It can help with recipe discovery, ingredients, planning and cooking inspiration. Instead of scrolling through recipes hoping one works, you can ask questions like:"I need an easy vegan dinner before trick-or-treating.""What can I make for a church potluck if one guest can't eat gluten?""I have pumpkin, potatoes and carrots. What could I make?" That's much closer to how we actually think about dinner. For guests with allergies or celiac disease, always check ingredients, preparation methods and possible cross-contact. An AI recipe suggestion alone cannot guarantee a meal is safe.Cookidoo has also introduced <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/recipe-translation" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/recipe-translation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Recipe Translation</a> for supported recipes from selected countries and languages, preserving Guided Cooking support. This opens up even more international recipe inspiration.<figure id="figure-vtsldn95t3mun2gvdi"><img id="vtsldn95t3mun2gvdi" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/20bxtS5XyjcNRnnpXxhAICjgH494BYQHh8x7BYUquf9OuxNGer4gKke6woAw4pjF.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 65%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="65%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/20bxtS5XyjcNRnnpXxhAICjgH494BYQHh8x7BYUquf9OuxNGer4gKke6woAw4pjF.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 65%;"></figure><h3>One-Bowl Meals: Less Mess, Less Cleanup</h3>Halloween dinner creates another problem nobody thinks about until they're standing in the kitchen: the cleanup.<a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/one-pot-recipes" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/foundation/en-US/pages/one-pot-recipes" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo has a collection of one-pot and one-bowl recipes </a>designed for everyday cooking with fewer dishes and less cleanup. That's the kind of Thermomix feature I care about far more than being able to recite a list of functions. If dinner can be made with fewer bowls, fewer pans and less hands-on time, the kitchen is already in better shape when the evening starts. And if you're hosting rather than trick-or-treating, that matters even more.Make some things ahead Not everything has to happen at 5 PM on Halloween.Soup, chili, sauces and dips can often be prepared earlier. Dough can be made ahead. Vegetables can be chopped. Dessert can already be finished. You can even deliberately make enough of something earlier in the week to give yourself an easier Halloween dinner. If you're contributing food to a church event or fall festival, find out how many people are expected, whether refrigeration or reheating is available, and whether any guests have dietary restrictions. And remember, doubling a recipe doesn't always mean you can double everything in the Thermomix mixing bowl. Check the recipe's quantities and your device's maximum capacity. For larger gatherings, preparing separate batches may be necessary. That's my kind of Halloween magic: getting the work done ahead of time.<figure id="figure-jymatx0rmun2hsus"><img id="jymatx0rmun2hsus" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/5ZSyq0rZFK5LziJ4rCZChlCepbFEDbfNcQ2WlEzJM0A85C6h5Uuv5ks0FNKZ1JA9.png" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 65%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="65%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/5ZSyq0rZFK5LziJ4rCZChlCepbFEDbfNcQ2WlEzJM0A85C6h5Uuv5ks0FNKZ1JA9.png" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 65%;"></figure><h3>Halloween food can still be fun</h3>Once dinner is solved, then I'd play.Cookidoo has <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/col441858" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/col441858" target="_blank" rel="noopener">plenty of Halloween ideas </a>if you want to make the food part of the celebration: spooky spaghetti and meatballs, sausage mummies, Halloween dipped apples, spider web cupcakes, beet hummus, pumpkin recipes and more. CookidooYou could make one fun Halloween item and let the rest of dinner stay wonderfully normal.Homemade doesn't have to mean elaborate.&nbsp;<figure id="figure-8hxu9kevsmun2l00x"><img id="8hxu9kevsmun2l00x" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/10HC2pgG0YoAH86C11VqOtAxBDFVQbWf0fzG3PLSlrYPR02D9IOONOXJIAVstKGx.png" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/10HC2pgG0YoAH86C11VqOtAxBDFVQbWf0fzG3PLSlrYPR02D9IOONOXJIAVstKGx.png" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r781634" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/recipes/recipe/en-US/r781634" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-mce-selected="inline-boundary">Black Banana Bread</a><h3>The real Halloween kitchen hack</h3>For me, the goal isn't to create a Pinterest-perfect Halloween dinner. It's to have real food on the table while still having time for the actual evening. That's one of the reasons Thermomix became such a big part of the way I cook. And if you're considering buying your first Thermomix, is an extra bowl something worth looking for <a data-mce-href="https://thewowbowl.com/current-thermomix-usa-offers---promotions" href="https://thewowbowl.com/current-thermomix-usa-offers---promotions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in a promotion?</a>After more than ten years of cooking with Thermomix, I've learned that sometimes the biggest time-saver isn't another cooking function. It's being able to move straight to your next recipe without stopping to wash and dry everything.A second mixing bowl isn't essential for everyone. But depending on how you cook, it can make everyday meals, baking, meal preparation, and entertaining considerably easier. Here are seven practical reasons why.<h3>1. Keep One Bowl Completely Dry for Grinding</h3>&nbsp;Have you ever tried grinding sugar into powdered sugar or milling wheat after preparing something wet in your Thermomix? The mixing bowl needs to be clean and completely dry. Even a little remaining moisture can cause flour or powdered sugar to clump. With a second bowl, you can keep one ready for dry ingredients while using the other for soups, sauces and everyday cooking. This is particularly convenient if you regularly grind your own grains, make powdered sugar or prepare homemade spice blends.<figure id="figure-0tzwt7ui8t8mun33awj"><img id="0tzwt7ui8t8mun33awj" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1EE4l3KVcXMH16zo15vfVYGfiaCGUMuUJIQhy1NuHvsAEYmJ7eMllPuqkZAoe3WK.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1EE4l3KVcXMH16zo15vfVYGfiaCGUMuUJIQhy1NuHvsAEYmJ7eMllPuqkZAoe3WK.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>2. Make Gluten-Free Cooking More Convenient </h3>If someone in your household follows a gluten-free diet, you already know how important it is to keep ingredients and preparation equipment separate.A dedicated second mixing bowl can make this easier, especially when preparing gluten-free flour, bread dough or baked goods. However, a separate bowl alone doesn't guarantee gluten-free preparation. Shared utensils, countertops and other Thermomix accessories can still introduce gluten. For someone with celiac disease, appropriate cleaning and cross-contact precautions remain essential. For households that regularly prepare both gluten-containing and gluten-free foods, having separate equipment can simplify the routine.<h3>3. Switch Between Recipes Without Washing the Bowl</h3> Imagine making homemade pizza. You prepare the dough in your Thermomix. Next, you want to make your tomato sauce. With one bowl, you first have to empty it, remove the remaining dough, wash the bowl and get everything ready again. With two bowls, you can remove the first one and start preparing your sauce in the second. The same applies to making bread and soup, preparing a main course and dessert, or switching between savory and sweet recipes. You still have only one Thermomix device, so you cannot cook with both bowls simultaneously. But you can avoid some of the interruptions between recipes.<figure id="figure-qqfth7cvumun34g81"><img id="qqfth7cvumun34g81" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/2fOLTfTaqzWJno5EcTqUrMEiJTIOItlXkpmNR0feHlKZYfYGDq0sTLAEKUiIV1Vk.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/2fOLTfTaqzWJno5EcTqUrMEiJTIOItlXkpmNR0feHlKZYfYGDq0sTLAEKUiIV1Vk.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>4. Make Weekly Meal Preparation Easier</h3> This is one of my favorite reasons.I love preparing homemade plant-based meals, including hummus, lentil dishes, soups, sauces and fresh bread. When I'm preparing several recipes in one session, repeatedly washing the same mixing bowl can interrupt my workflow. With a second bowl, I can prepare hummus, set it aside and immediately move on to a soup or another recipe. It makes preparing several homemade dishes feel much more manageable, especially during busy weeks.<h3>5. Spend Less Time Waiting for Cleanup</h3>Sometimes the biggest obstacle to cooking isn't the recipe itself. It's everything that needs to be cleaned between recipes.A second mixing bowl allows you to set the used bowl aside and continue preparing your next dish. You can wash both bowls together afterward or clean the first while the second is in use.The TM7 also has a Pre-Clean mode, which can help loosen food residue before washing.Having two bowls doesn't necessarily mean fewer dishes, but it can mean fewer interruptions.<figure id="figure-pgqav2o1mmun34slh"><img id="pgqav2o1mmun34slh" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1eYvHr2yaU0m2acoTDGaAYrSSicdqFa6anwraQZaFxhIjLeSjrAsqMWu6oQtSmzf.png" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: undefined undefined;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1eYvHr2yaU0m2acoTDGaAYrSSicdqFa6anwraQZaFxhIjLeSjrAsqMWu6oQtSmzf.png" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: undefined undefined;"></figure><h3>6. Make Homemade Baking More Convenient</h3> If you enjoy baking, you probably know how quickly one recipe turns into several. You might prepare bread dough, grind sugar for a dessert and then mix cake batter.A second bowl makes switching between these tasks easier, particularly when one recipe requires a completely dry bowl. It's also useful when preparing several dishes for a holiday meal, church gathering or family celebration.Instead of repeatedly stopping to clean your equipment, you can keep moving through your recipes.<h3>7. Make Entertaining and Holiday Cooking Less Stressful</h3> Thanksgiving, Christmas, family dinners and church gatherings often involve preparing several dishes within a relatively short time. That's when having a second bowl can become particularly convenient. You can prepare a dip, switch to a soup, make bread dough or start preparing dessert without washing the same bowl between every step. For me, the real benefit is having more flexibility in the kitchen and more time to spend with the people I'm cooking for.Do You Actually Need a Second Thermomix® Mixing Bowl? Not everyone does.If you generally prepare one recipe at a time and don't mind washing the bowl between dishes, your original mixing bowl may be all you need. But if you regularly prepare multiple recipes, bake from scratch, grind dry ingredients or accommodate different dietary needs, a second bowl could make a noticeable difference. It's especially useful for people who enjoy batch cooking or preparing several homemade dishes for family and friends.<figure id="figure-d0ef9ttdfpmun35700"><img id="d0ef9ttdfpmun35700" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0eg3L3AJCWY8uegjCStSpwQQMPeqsvbaUgdQe9ComPZgXaiXX6Hs4dNvvUEyjltB.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0eg3L3AJCWY8uegjCStSpwQQMPeqsvbaUgdQe9ComPZgXaiXX6Hs4dNvvUEyjltB.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Can You Use a TM6 Mixing Bowl With the TM7?</h3>No. The TM6 mixing bowl is not compatible with the TM7.If you're purchasing an additional mixing bowl for your TM7, make sure you're getting the correct model.<figure id="figure-n4zmgltjnfmun3919e"><img id="n4zmgltjnfmun3919e" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/39EYs7nBI6WCLUTS0ijyjn693u07bTXIfs3tKOM6mC3sTzExS94j5POhIbJYNDNS.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 15%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="15%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/39EYs7nBI6WCLUTS0ijyjn693u07bTXIfs3tKOM6mC3sTzExS94j5POhIbJYNDNS.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 15%;"></figure><h3>Where Can You Buy a Second Thermomix® TM7 Mixing Bowl in the USA?</h3>If you're looking for a second TM7 mixing bowl, it's worth checking <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">current U.S. availability</a> and<a data-mce-href="https://thewowbowl.com/current-thermomix-usa-offers---promotions" href="https://thewowbowl.com/current-thermomix-usa-offers---promotions" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> promotions before purchasing.</a>Thermomix offers and accessory bundles can change throughout the year. If you cook several times a day, regularly prepare meals from scratch or enjoy baking, the convenience of having another bowl ready may be worth the investment. If you use your Thermomix occasionally, you may be perfectly happy with one. Before buying, consider how often you find yourself stopping to wash or dry the mixing bowl between recipes. Is a Second Thermomix® TM7 Mixing Bowl Worth It? 7 Practical Reasons

What Happens After You Order a Thermomix® TM7? Your First Week Explained

Never heard of Thermomix? Learn what the <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/">Thermomix® TM7</a> actually does, how Guided Cooking works, what you can make, and why it is different from a blender or multicooker. If you grew up in Europe, you may already know Thermomix. If you're in the United States, there's a good chance you've never heard of it.I'm originally from Germany, where Thermomix has been part of kitchens for decades. When I talk about it here in the U.S., one of the questions I hear most often is simply:“But what actually IS a Thermomix?”<figure id="figure-z73ph7p8evmu66wcmb"><img id="z73ph7p8evmu66wcmb" src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/3416c02pdQ4547ExjQyJfDU4LDEswvI8wwaA7oRP4IoY6zjp5w6SgCgdMVYccdV6.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 100%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="100%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/3416c02pdQ4547ExjQyJfDU4LDEswvI8wwaA7oRP4IoY6zjp5w6SgCgdMVYccdV6.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 100%;"></figure>The easiest answer is that the <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thermomix® TM7 </a>is an all-in-one cooking device that can prepare ingredients and cook them. With access to more than 100,000 recipes through <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo®</a>, it can also feel like having a personal-chef-style kitchen companion, tailored to the way you like to cook and eat.But that still doesn't really explain why I've had one in my kitchen for more than 10 years.<h3>What does a Thermomix actually do?</h3><figure id="figure-3htdsfhw7zcmszjsfrj"><img id="3htdsfhw7zcmszjsfrj" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bgxlFF9bYgeFJcJadUlHitUNju5koN4RD3NsLPaubRoE1nhR8GsCOLSlJ6mnXCl.jpg" alt="thermomix in kitchen" title="thermomix in kitchen" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 45% 10%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="45%" data-positiony="10%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bgxlFF9bYgeFJcJadUlHitUNju5koN4RD3NsLPaubRoE1nhR8GsCOLSlJ6mnXCl.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 45% 10%;"></figure>Imagine you're making soup.Normally, you might use a cutting board and knife to chop the vegetables, a scale or measuring cups for the ingredients, a pot to cook everything, and then a blender if you want the soup smooth. With Thermomix, many of those steps happen in the same bowl. It has an integrated scale, so you can weigh ingredients directly into the bowl. That means less dishes and less time. It can chop your onion and vegetables. It can heat and cook them. It can stir while they're cooking. And if you're making a creamy soup, it can blend it when it's finished. That combination is what makes Thermomix easier to understand when you see it cooking an actual meal.<figure id="figure-kkclcs5abfmu68mqbu"><img id="kkclcs5abfmu68mqbu" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/17lnmNrBX66YXHIuzTIVWNggpwYY7JTHMwjKjPkfesqWn2yXx2pBY4rSaelzbwUH.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/17lnmNrBX66YXHIuzTIVWNggpwYY7JTHMwjKjPkfesqWn2yXx2pBY4rSaelzbwUH.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Cookidoo® Is Becoming Much More Than a Recipe Library</h3>One of the biggest parts of the Thermomix® experience is <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo®</a>, the recipe platform that connects directly with the TM7. And Cookidoo is becoming increasingly interactive. The new Cookidoo® Assistant lets you ask questions in a much more natural way. Instead of knowing exactly what recipe you want to search for, you can ask things like:<ul><li>What can I make with carrots, potatoes and ground beef? </li><li>I need a quick vegan dinner. </li><li>What could I cook for a guest who cannot eat gluten? </li><li>I want something Italian that my family will like.</li></ul>The Assistant can help you explore ideas and find matching Cookidoo recipes. It can also help with everyday planning, such as adding recipes to your shopping list or planning a recipe for a particular day.Cookidoo has also introduced Recipe Translation. Supported recipes from other countries can now be translated in the app while keeping the Guided Cooking experience. That opens up recipes that previously may have been difficult to use simply because they were published in another language. And the TM7 itself continues to become more international. Arabic is now available as a language on the TM7, making the experience more accessible to Arabic-speaking cooks. For someone like me, who grew up in Germany and now lives in the United States and loves exploring food from different cultures, this is one of the developments I find particularly exciting. Thermomix has always made it easier for me to explore cuisines from around the world. Now Cookidoo is making those borders even smaller.<h2>Does Thermomix cook the food for you?</h2><figure id="figure-m7fw7mlofkmu67bbc3"><img id="m7fw7mlofkmu67bbc3" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/64aNAp2bRtLkO2yPgSPb1LPvQ1KuqmSXs1v0ZGpk5uOlLOvfYJh7h9DMCJoRGPPV.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/64aNAp2bRtLkO2yPgSPb1LPvQ1KuqmSXs1v0ZGpk5uOlLOvfYJh7h9DMCJoRGPPV.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure>Yes, but perhaps not in the way you're imagining. You still choose what you're eating and put the ingredients in. The difference is that <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thermomix </a>can take over many of the repetitive steps. This is also where Guided Cooking becomes so useful.&nbsp;Choose a recipe on the screen, and Thermomix guides you through it step by step.Add an ingredient and the integrated scale weighs it. Move to the next step and the recipe can set the appropriate time, temperature and speed. Instead of constantly moving between the recipe, cutting board, scale, pan and stove, much of the process happens in one place. You can also cook manually when you don't want to follow a Guided Cooking recipe.<figure id="figure-3gmufj9tpfmu67he9q"><img id="3gmufj9tpfmu67he9q" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/37udN0XgU3ppH6ejwWoOBtw7SstOCPHUGwkiGqkIsKNBblOz4h9G0GG2UoPJHctN.png" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: undefined undefined;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/37udN0XgU3ppH6ejwWoOBtw7SstOCPHUGwkiGqkIsKNBblOz4h9G0GG2UoPJHctN.png" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: undefined undefined;"></figure><h3>What can you make in a Thermomix?</h3>This might be easier to answer with examples because the range is huge. You can explore international cuisines, make doughs and breads, steam, stir-fry, purée, emulsify, reduce sauces and use culinary techniques such as sous-vide cooking and tempering chocolate.Or you can make mac and cheese. You can make salads and their dressings, lemonade, desserts and cakes. You can ferment yogurt, prepare dough for sourdough bread, make one-pot dinners, cook across multiple levels, or recreate a childhood dish from another country.<figure id="figure-vxoldw4ocemu67xxos"><img id="vxoldw4ocemu67xxos" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1EE4l3KVcXMH16zo15vfVYGfiaCGUMuUJIQhy1NuHvsAEYmJ7eMllPuqkZAoe3WK.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1EE4l3KVcXMH16zo15vfVYGfiaCGUMuUJIQhy1NuHvsAEYmJ7eMllPuqkZAoe3WK.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure>Thermomix works alongside some other kitchen appliances rather than replacing every one of them. For example, I still use an air fryer when I want something crispy, and the TM7 mixing bowl has a maximum capacity of 2.2 L (about 74 fl oz).I don't wake up thinking: “Today I'd like to use my chopping function.” I think: “What are we eating?”For me, Thermomix might mean making bread dough, hummus, soup, curry, risotto, a sauce, nut butter, a smoothie, salad dressing or dinner. Another day it might simply chop vegetables or make something from scratch that I otherwise would have bought prepared. That's why I think the better question isn't: “How many functions does it have?” It's: “Which parts of cooking would this make easier for me?”And maybe:“What will I do while dinner is cooking without me standing there stirring it?”<figure id="figure-nlwzisbywbmszjsfrj"><img id="nlwzisbywbmszjsfrj" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/18cB0qTBsTR4t0HaXNJZJEAr7Fkpn6DUYZipR0ZA0VHmxndDTgz83V1xff5qoWoH.jpg" alt="meal prep" title="meal prep" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 3/2; object-position: 50% 35%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="3:2" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="35%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/18cB0qTBsTR4t0HaXNJZJEAr7Fkpn6DUYZipR0ZA0VHmxndDTgz83V1xff5qoWoH.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 3/2; object-position: 50% 35%;"></figure><h2>Is Thermomix basically an Instant Pot, blender or food processor?</h2>Not exactly. There is overlap with several kitchen appliances because Thermomix can perform jobs that you might otherwise use separate devices for. But I wouldn't tell you it replaces everything in your kitchen. I still use my oven. I still use a pan when that's the best tool for what I'm making.I also think Thermomix and an air fryer make a great combination: Thermomix can handle the prep, sauces, and sides, while the air fryer handles the things I want crispy. <figure id="figure-wb3tsqag6qmu67noim"><img id="wb3tsqag6qmu67noim" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/dyKHiBkMTeDTkcJv6d1lho45YnJ2XhxXiMjeEIAzJ6RIs2s6J9DndCwTtoy00MC5.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/dyKHiBkMTeDTkcJv6d1lho45YnJ2XhxXiMjeEIAzJ6RIs2s6J9DndCwTtoy00MC5.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure> Thermomix isn't valuable to me because I can throw every other kitchen tool away. It's valuable because so many everyday cooking steps can happen in one place, and I don't have to stand beside it for every step.<figure id="figure-6paesqaramu68ge8k"><img id="6paesqaramu68ge8k" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/33xZkWLDSfu8dUWSwDzKaSSEfeblxeUvQdw3Jug13UW7snMmbXm6JkyeJuEIx49f.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 45% 90%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="45%" data-positiony="90%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/33xZkWLDSfu8dUWSwDzKaSSEfeblxeUvQdw3Jug13UW7snMmbXm6JkyeJuEIx49f.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 45% 90%;"></figure><h3>Is Thermomix only for people who don't know how to cook?</h3>Definitely not.It can help someone learn to cook, but it can also open the door to more advanced cooking techniques. <a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thermomix</a> is used in professional cooking, and Cookidoo even <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/VrkCollection-gb-000001307369" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/collection/en-US/p/VrkCollection-gb-000001307369" target="_blank" rel="noopener">features recipe collections</a> developed with professional and Michelin-starred chefs, bringing some of those techniques into the home kitchen.&nbsp;I'm now an experienced cook, and I use mine all the time. In fact, I don't think I'd want to be without one anymore. Someone learning to cook may love Guided Cooking because it removes a lot of uncertainty. An experienced cook may appreciate the precision, consistency, and ability to let the Thermomix stir, emulsify, or cook something while they do something else. And sometimes I know perfectly well how to cook something.I simply don't want to spend my evening doing every step myself or cleaning more than I really have to.<figure id="figure-72pet7pyknmszjsfrj" class=""><img id="72pet7pyknmszjsfrj" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0eg3L3AJCWY8uegjCStSpwQQMPeqsvbaUgdQe9ComPZgXaiXX6Hs4dNvvUEyjltB.jpg" alt="healthy cooking" title="healthy cooking" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 3/2; object-position: 50% 90%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="3:2" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="90%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0eg3L3AJCWY8uegjCStSpwQQMPeqsvbaUgdQe9ComPZgXaiXX6Hs4dNvvUEyjltB.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 3/2; object-position: 50% 90%;"></figure><h2>Why isn't Thermomix better known in the United States?</h2><a data-mce-href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" href="https://shop.thermomix.com/consultant/107976/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Thermomix </a>has a much longer history and greater familiarity in parts of Europe and other international markets than it does in the United States. That's one reason I enjoy introducing people to it here.I'm a German native living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I've cooked with Thermomix for more than 10 years, starting with my TM5 in 2014, then the TM6 and now the TM7. What Is a Thermomix®? What the TM7 Actually Does

One of the questions I hear from people considering a Thermomix® TM7 is:“Do I have to keep paying for <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo </a>after buying the Thermomix?”The short answer is:No. You can use the Thermomix TM7 without a <a data-mce-href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" href="https://cookidoo.thermomix.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cookidoo subscription.</a>But Cookidoo changes how you use it, so I think it is worth understanding what you get with and without the subscription before you decide whether a TM7 makes sense for you.I have cooked with Thermomix for more than 10 years, from my TM5 to TM6 and now TM7. I personally use Cookidoo, but I also think you should know what is actually optional rather than assuming you need a subscription simply because you own the device.<figure id="figure-3lvcma0c5mtxucuqe"><img id="3lvcma0c5mtxucuqe" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1bID89jKMx7UnH4SSAemxXvGklGfEE7aP4D8Dh0tSsmP3cRt9bXKAKoV7BUWHIPm.jpg" alt="thermomix kitchen" title="thermomix kitchen" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="null" data-positiony="null" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/1bID89jKMx7UnH4SSAemxXvGklGfEE7aP4D8Dh0tSsmP3cRt9bXKAKoV7BUWHIPm.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Can you use the TM7 without Cookidoo?</h3>Yes. According to Thermomix USA, you can use your TM7 without connecting it to a Cookidoo account. You can still:<ul><li>cook manually </li><li>use the TM7’s built-in cooking modes </li><li>receive software updates</li><li>access the built-in recipes included with the TM7</li></ul>The TM7 includes 200 built-in recipes, which Thermomix calls the Manifesto Recipes. Once they have downloaded to the device, they can also be available offline. So your Thermomix does not become unusable if you decide not to subscribe to Cookidoo.<figure id="figure-7n5ravp66gmtxucuqe"><img id="7n5ravp66gmtxucuqe" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/7Z05lSJWL4YXJogp6fv9IIeEch4CBU0CUUPghRDmbBSYGJe0BLYgimmwj0vGNNcq.jpg" alt="cooking class" title="cooking class" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="null" data-positiony="null" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/7Z05lSJWL4YXJogp6fv9IIeEch4CBU0CUUPghRDmbBSYGJe0BLYgimmwj0vGNNcq.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Then what does Cookidoo actually add?</h3>This is where the experience becomes quite different. Cookidoo is Thermomix’s recipe platform. With an active subscription, you get access to more than 100,000 Guided Cooking recipes from around the world.Instead of reading a recipe beside your Thermomix and manually setting every temperature, time, and speed, the recipe appears directly on the TM7 screen and guides you through the process step by step. For example, it may tell you: Add 200 g of onion. Then the integrated scale shows you when you've reached the right amount. Tap Next. The TM7 sets the chopping speed and time. Then you add the next ingredient and continue. This is one of the things that makes Thermomix different from simply owning a powerful food processor or blender.<figure id="figure-uxtqob4mqimtxucuqe"><img id="uxtqob4mqimtxucuqe" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/24GrNbSUIGSIsz7NssHUUHtE2YWuNn01EL40PwJNs9WteLo2sgX3pNmMQ0UMz0tc.jpg" alt="food demonstration" title="food demonstration" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="null" data-positiony="null" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/24GrNbSUIGSIsz7NssHUUHtE2YWuNn01EL40PwJNs9WteLo2sgX3pNmMQ0UMz0tc.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Is Cookidoo useful if you already know how to cook?</h3>For me, yes. For others (like my parents), no.I know how to cook, and I still use Guided Cooking regularly. Sometimes I want to create my own recipe or cook manually. Other times I don't want to think.I want to choose a recipe, put the ingredients into the bowl, and follow the steps.I like having tested recipes guide me through the timing, temperatures, and speeds, so there’s less guesswork.<figure id="figure-chn843dwdpmu6afkqv"><img id="chn843dwdpmu6afkqv" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0HwsXvpZbClihO2VCV7e6SiUUnYqmzc7Es8jon3cGkwjOdFoBqxtRbTB7Nm2TXVI.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/0HwsXvpZbClihO2VCV7e6SiUUnYqmzc7Es8jon3cGkwjOdFoBqxtRbTB7Nm2TXVI.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure>I also like Cookidoo for inspiration. If I have an ingredient I want to use, I can search for recipes rather than trying to invent dinner from scratch. And because the recipe library is international, I can explore dishes from many different cuisines rather than cooking the same handful of meals every week.<h3>What if I prefer my own recipes?</h3>You can always use the TM7 manually. So if you already know how to make your favorite soup, curry, bread or sauce, you don't need Cookidoo to tell you how to cook it.Cookidoo also offers tools for creating and adapting recipes, which can make it easier to bring your own recipes into the Thermomix workflow. This is one area where I would think about how you personally cook.If you love following your own recipes and rarely want Guided Cooking, the subscription may be less important to you. If you enjoy having the TM7 walk you through recipes step by step, Cookidoo becomes a much bigger part of the experience.<figure id="figure-dwzh8smpckmtxucuqe" class=""><img id="dwzh8smpckmtxucuqe" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/daXRiKIUdHDY8UMTspnf5XjkfQrvpXBMUWTnGqfHuCF8hsc2sl09DaoiKdoXBNyQ.jpg" alt="happy cooking" title="happy cooking" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: 50% 10%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="10%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/daXRiKIUdHDY8UMTspnf5XjkfQrvpXBMUWTnGqfHuCF8hsc2sl09DaoiKdoXBNyQ.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: 50% 10%;"></figure><h3>How much does Cookidoo cost in the USA?</h3> Cookidoo currently costs $65 per year in the United States. A new Thermomix TM7 currently includes a 3-month free Cookidoo trial, so you can experience the full platform before deciding whether you want to continue.I like that approach because this is something you can actually test rather than deciding in theory whether you'll use it.<h3>What happens if I don't renew?</h3> You can continue using the TM7 manually and use its built-in recipes and modes. You aren't paying an annual fee simply to turn on your Thermomix. What you are paying for with Cookidoo is primarily the expanded connected recipe ecosystem and Guided Cooking experience. For some people, that becomes one of their favorite parts of owning a Thermomix. For others, manual cooking may be enough. Both are perfectly valid ways to use the TM7.<h3>Is Cookidoo worth $65 a year?</h3> I look at this differently than I would a normal recipe subscription. For me, the value isn't simply having access to recipes. There are plenty of recipes on the internet. The difference is that Cookidoo recipes integrate directly with the Thermomix. The scale, time, temperature, and speed become part of the recipe process. That's the part I would evaluate during your free trial.&nbsp;<figure id="figure-4i5x1yrl8mmu6e0xbq"><img id="4i5x1yrl8mmu6e0xbq" src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/303FLAU8fHtVRNjtQ4eHC2BgKCqlD5QKegHWdLuSfQuWcq36XtkmaMte8MzAT70E.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 0%;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="50%" data-positiony="0%" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/303FLAU8fHtVRNjtQ4eHC2BgKCqlD5QKegHWdLuSfQuWcq36XtkmaMte8MzAT70E.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: 50% 0%;"></figure>Ask yourself: Am I actually using Guided Cooking? Is it helping me cook meals I wouldn't otherwise make? Does it save me mental energy deciding what to cook and how to make it? If yes, $65 a year may be very easy to justify. If you find yourself cooking manually most of the time, you can decide differently.<figure id="figure-l3ubx56gumu6e2vfq"><img id="l3ubx56gumu6e2vfq" src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/33j9A4YCyT3QAXQ10mLrZWFDmzeqPXLIleYIUwIuZ6VZ6vGyorDbXfjmJxQ3KpiH.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="16:9" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/33j9A4YCyT3QAXQ10mLrZWFDmzeqPXLIleYIUwIuZ6VZ6vGyorDbXfjmJxQ3KpiH.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 16/9; object-position: center center;"></figure><h3>Can I see Cookidoo before buying a Thermomix?</h3> Yes, and I actually think this is a smart thing to explore if the recipe platform is important to your buying decision. You can subscribe for a monthly free trial and see all the recipes and try out the weekly planner and shopping list, even before your Thermomix arrives.During a personalized Thermomix Cooking Experience, I can show you how Cookidoo works directly on the TM7 rather than simply describing it. You can see how a recipe moves from choosing what to cook to weighing ingredients and then through each cooking step. That makes it much easier to decide whether Guided Cooking is something you would genuinely use. You can cook manually and use the device's built-in recipes and modes without subscribing. Cookidoo is what adds the much larger Guided Cooking library and connected recipe experience. For me, that experience is worth having. But the best way to decide whether it is worth it for you is to use the included trial and see how Cookidoo fits the way you actually cook.
