How to Become a Thermomix® Consultant in the USA: A Practical Guide
RM
Understanding the Role of a Thermomix® Consultant
Becoming a Thermomix® consultant is about more than sharing a kitchen device. You help people discover what Thermomix® can do in their own kitchen, answer their questions and support them as they learn to use it.
Consultants can host cooking experiences in person or online, share recipes and their own experience with Thermomix®, and help customers decide whether it fits the way they cook and eat.
You also don’t need to be a professional chef or an experienced salesperson to get started. Your own experience with Thermomix® can be one of your best starting points. As you learn the device, participate in training and begin sharing it with others, your knowledge and confidence can grow with you.
For me, that personal experience matters. I’ve used Thermomix® since getting my TM5 in 2014, followed by the TM6 and now the TM7. Today I help both customers and new consultants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and across the USA get started with Thermomix®.

The Path to Becoming a Consultant
Becoming a Thermomix® consultant starts with enrolling through an official consultant registration link.
Before you enroll, it can be helpful to understand the current program, what is included and what opportunities are available. Because Thermomix® USA programs and incentives can change, I keep those details updated separately rather than putting temporary offers into this guide.

Initial Steps and Training
Once you’re enrolled, you’ll have access to training and resources to help you learn Thermomix® and understand your role as a consultant.
You can learn how to use and demonstrate the device, prepare for cooking experiences, answer common questions and use the consultant tools available to you. You don’t need to know everything before you begin.
If you join through me, I’ll also be there as one of your points of contact. I can help you get started, find the resources you need, prepare for your first cooking experience and work through questions as they come up.

Setting Goals and Finding Your First Customers
There isn’t one right way to be a Thermomix® consultant. It helps to start by thinking about what you would like to get out of the experience.
Maybe your first goal is simply to share Thermomix® with a few people and see what happens. Maybe you want to earn toward your own TM7. Or perhaps you already know that you’d like to develop it into an additional source of income over time.
Your first customers may also be closer than you think. Friends, family, neighbors, coworkers or people in your existing communities may already be curious about Thermomix®, especially once they see you using it in your own kitchen.
You can also meet people through cooking experiences, local events, social media or simply by sharing what you are cooking and learning. You don’t need a large following or an established customer network to begin.
Start with the people and opportunities that feel natural to you. As you gain experience, you can decide whether you want to keep it small or grow your consultant business further.
How much do I need to sell?
How much you sell depends on what you want to get out of being a Thermomix® consultant. You don’t have to decide from the beginning that you want to build a business.
Some people start because they would like the opportunity to earn toward the cost of their own Thermomix® TM7. Others enjoy sharing Thermomix® occasionally, while some discover that they want to continue as consultants and build an additional source of income.
The Thermomix® USA Earning Program, sales requirements, incentives and consultant benefits can change over time. Rather than listing details here that may become outdated, I keep the current information updated on my consultant page:

There you can see how the Earning Program currently works, what you can earn toward your TM7, what happens after the initial earning period, and what is required if you decide to continue as a consultant.

Tips for Success
Effective Communication
One of the most useful skills as a Thermomix® consultant is learning to listen before you demonstrate.
Different people are interested in Thermomix® for very different reasons. Someone may want to cook more from scratch, save time, add more protein or vegetables to their meals, reduce food waste, explore new cuisines or simply make everyday cooking easier.
Ask questions and find out what matters to them. Then you can show the parts of Thermomix® that are actually relevant to their life rather than trying to show everything it can do.
Your own experience can be valuable too. Sharing how you use Thermomix®, what you’ve learned and even what surprised you makes the conversation more personal and genuine.
And support doesn’t end with a purchase. Following up, answering questions and helping customers find recipes or learn features can make a real difference in how confidently they use their Thermomix®.
Benefits of Becoming a Thermomix® Consultant
There are different reasons people choose to become consultants.
You may be interested in the opportunity to earn toward your own Thermomix® TM7, earn commission on qualifying sales, learn more about Thermomix®, meet new people or develop an additional source of income.
You’ll also have access to training, resources and a consultant community, while gaining experience through cooking experiences and working with customers.
What you make of it can develop over time. You might enjoy sharing Thermomix® occasionally, or you may discover that you want to build a more active consultant business.
