Can You Finance a Thermomix® TM7 in the USA? Payment Options Explained

The Thermomix® TM7 is currently $1,699 plus tax, and payment-over-time options are available for eligible customers. Thermomix USA currently works with financing providers including Bread Pay and Affirm. Available terms, APRs and promotional financing offers can change throughout the year and depend on eligibility.

That is why I don't recommend making a purchase decision based on an old financing promotion you may find through Google.

How Does Thermomix® Financing Work?

If you choose to finance your TM7, you can apply for available financing during checkout or, if you choose the Earning Program, during the enrollment process.

The financing options and promotional terms available to you can vary, so check the current offer rather than relying on an older promotion you may have seen online.

A few things worth knowing:

Financing providers: Thermomix USA currently offers payment options through Bread Pay and Affirm.
APR and terms: These depend on the financing option, current promotions and your eligibility.
Checking your options: You can see the financing choices available to you as part of the purchase process. Checking your eligibility will not affect your credit score.
Paying early: Check the terms of the financing option offered to you for information about early repayment.

Can a Thermomix® TM7 Help Reduce Other Food Costs?

Financing doesn't make the Thermomix® TM7 less expensive, but using it regularly can change where some of your food budget goes.

One of the things I appreciate most about Thermomix is how much easier it makes to prepare foods from scratch that I might otherwise buy ready-made.

Depending on how you cook, that can include:

• Preparing more meals at home instead of ordering takeout
  
• Making breads, dips, sauces, soups and other staples from scratch
  
• Using ingredients you already have before they go to waste
  
• Meal prepping and batch cooking
  
• Turning leftovers and ingredients in your refrigerator into another meal
  

How much you save will be different for every household. I wouldn't buy a Thermomix based on the promise that it will “pay for itself.”

For me, the bigger question is whether I will use it enough to make the investment worthwhile in the way I cook, eat and live.

What About the Thermomix® Earning Program?

There are two different paths worth considering. You can buy the TM7 as a customer and use whatever eligible financing options are currently available, or you can enroll in the Thermomix® Earning Program and have the opportunity to earn discounts toward the cost of your TM7 by sharing Thermomix with others.

The Earning Program also has a different payment structure that can make the upfront cost more manageable.

You start with a $700 down payment. You then have 90 days to earn credits toward your TM7 by sharing Thermomix and making qualifying sales. At the end of those 90 days, you are responsible for whatever balance remains after the credits you earned have been applied.

That means the amount remaining after 90 days depends on what you accomplish during your earning period.

If paying $1,699 upfront is the main reason you're considering financing, I would look at the Earning Program before deciding which path makes the most sense for you. It gives you the opportunity to reduce the remaining cost of your TM7 during those first 90 days rather than simply financing the entire purchase price from the beginning.
